What to do with a baby wild rabbit that is abandoned that i found...?

My grandma told me and my family that she has a baby wild rabbit that hops around her yard everyday. She is positive that this bunny is abandoned and can't take it in due to the fact that she has a big dog in her house that will most likely try to eat it. I also do not want to call the rabbit rescue. I would love to take it in but i would like just a little advice before i ask my parents. Thanks :)
