ASVAB NOT RIGHT PLEASE HELP!?

I took many practice test and i received a 38 54 60 54 55 that was my average, so my recruiter said i would pass , now the day before i took the asvab i took the practice test and got a 54 , the next day when i took the asvab it was on paper and the guy told us 4 at a time he will grade it and he would give us a blank piece of paper and it was say our name our test site and our servicebooklet for example 25A so yea i know i did decent on the asvab at least on the math and reading parts and turns out i got a afqt 29% percentile i was so upset and downright depressed , now can someone tell me if this was a mistake? my recruiter said its going to take 48 hours probably monday or tuesday to show up on his screen and he said sometimes people take it and the instructor messes up and by computer its so much better hes only human , he said it has happened before to one of his poolees but i need to know is this true? PLEASE HELP!!!!!
