If a guinea pig and a rabbit are kept together for 10 to 15 minutes at a time, is that bad?

My guinea pig really likes rabbits(for some weird reason), and he purrs whenever his head is underneath the rabbits' head. I've heard many stories about rabbits injuring guinea pigs and stuff like that, but both of the rabbits he hangs out with don't act territorial, or kick in front of him, they are both bonded closely with him. One of the rabbits is a female, and the other is a male. My guinea pig really likes both of them. Male rabbits and male guinea pigs are not supposed to get along, but my guinea pig seems like he's protecting the rabbit, in a way, like a parent. The rabbit doesn't mind, either. With the female rabbit, it seems like they are really close, too.
